Shakespeare Workshop March 2014, Payhembury, Devon, UK Created and executed a workshop for the community of Payhembury prior to our touring production of Romeo and Juliet. Work included movement work (as influenced by Glynn MacDonald) and text work (as influenced by Yvonne Morley).
Shakespeare’s Globetrotters
August 2013-Present, Alpine School District Created and ran a week-long workshop for secondary age students that focused on early modern theatre staging techniques. Classes include work in acting, text, voice, and movement. Inaugural workshop featured sixteen students, ages 12-17. Students performed a 75 minute Shakespeare performance at the end of the week. Current plans are in the works for the 2014 workshops.
Voice Workshop November, 2013, University of Exeter, Exeter, Devon, UK Designed and taught a voice master class on Jacobean sonnets. Workshop included work from Patsy Rodenburg and the Alexander Technique
Master Class August 2013, Salt Lake High School for the Performing Arts, American Fork High School Designed and taught master classes for two Utah high schools. Course work included text analysis and movement of early modern theatre practices.
